LIB DEMS REACT TO WILLIAMSON'S SOUR GRAPES.

Reacting to Chris Williamson's comments on the Lib Dem campaign Lib Dem Group Leader Cllr Hilary Jones said,
"This is clearly a case of sour grapes. Chris Williamson led the Labour Party to its worst defeat in Derby in many years and now he is trying to blame everyone but himself for his ineffective campaign. This is another Labour "dodgy dossier".
"He set out to deceive the electorate with typical New Labour spin by claiming that they were not making cuts on the Council but people have seen through him, and seen through his party.
"He has saved his job at the council by jumping into bed with the Conservatives, despite saying an alliance is "a travesty of democracy" and he is now trying to save face within the Labour Party after all his credibility has disappeared."
