Shadow Cabinet Walkabout

On Wednesday the Liberal Democrats' Shadow Cabinet were on the streets talking to people in the Carlton Road area. They were joined by Abbey ward, Lib Dem councillor Bryan Lowe.
Hilary Jones leader of Derby Lib Dem councillors said "We spoke to around fifty people and they raised a number of concerns about local things like graffiti and pot holes, but also wider issues like the Labour/Conservative alliance's cuts to local services.
"As the only opposition to Derby's Labour/Conservative cabinet we feel it is important for the Lib Dem Shadow Cabinet team to be out and about speaking to people, and listening to their concerns. We will therefore be holding regular walkabouts in different parts of the city."
